Privacy Policy

1. Our commitment
Jamnapari PDF ("we", "us", "our") is a privacy-focused service. The core principle is simple: your files are your files. We do not and cannot view, access, store, or share your documents. All PDF processing occurs entirely on your own computer, inside your web browser.
1.1 The client-side principle
Unlike most online PDF services, this app does not upload your files to a server for processing. The tools are powered by JavaScript and WebAssembly libraries that run directly on your device. Your data never leaves your computer. This is an architectural fact, not a policy promise — there is no server that could receive your files.
2. Information we do not collect
Because of the client-side architecture, we are technically incapable of collecting:
- The content of your PDF files or any other documents you use with our tools.
- Any personal data contained within those documents.
- The filenames of your documents.
- Any metadata derived from your files, beyond what the tool holds in memory during your active session, which is discarded when the tab closes.
3. Analytics and tracking
There are none. This app runs no analytics script, collects no usage telemetry, sends no error reports, and sets no cookies. We do not know how many people use it, which tools are popular, or whether you visited at all.
4. Network requests the page does make
For completeness, these are the only outbound requests involved:
- Application assets — the HTML, JavaScript and CSS, served from wherever this app is hosted.
- Google Fonts — the Ubuntu typeface family is fetched from
fonts.googleapis.comandfonts.gstatic.com. Google may log the IP address making that request. Self-host the fonts if you wish to eliminate this. - OCR language data — the first time you use the OCR tool, Tesseract downloads a language model. This request contains no information about your document.
None of these requests carry your file contents.
5. Third-party libraries
This app is built on open-source libraries including pdf-lib, PDF.js, PDFKit and Tesseract.js. These operate under the same client-side principle and do not transmit your documents.
6. Security
Because your files are never transmitted to a server, they cannot be exposed by a breach of one. The security of your documents rests on the security of your own computer and browser.
7. Children's privacy
This service is not directed at individuals under the age of 13, and collects no personal information from anyone.
8. Changes to this policy
We may update this policy from time to time. Changes will be posted on this page with a revised "Last Updated" date.
