1. Acceptance of terms
By accessing and using Jamnapari PDF (the "Service"), you accept and agree to be bound by these terms. If you do not agree to them, please do not use the Service.
2. Description of service
The Service provides a suite of client-side tools for processing and manipulating PDF files. All operations are executed locally within your web browser. No files or data are uploaded to or stored on any server.
3. User conduct and responsibilities
You are solely responsible for the content of the files you process. You agree not to use the Service for any unlawful purpose, including:
- Processing material that infringes the copyright, trademark, or intellectual property rights of others.
- Processing material that is defamatory, obscene, or otherwise illegal.
- Attempting to disrupt the functionality of the Service.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available" without warranties of any kind, express or implied. We do not warrant that it will be error-free or uninterrupted, or that results obtained from the tools will be accurate, complete, or reliable. You use the Service at your own risk.
Specifically, we do not guarantee that conversions, compressions, or modifications will be lossless. Data loss or corruption, while unlikely, is possible. Keep backups of your original files.
5. Limitation of liability
To the fullest extent permitted by applicable law, in no event shall the operators of the Service be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages — including loss of profits, data, use, or goodwill — resulting from:
- Your access to, use of, or inability to use the Service.
- Any content obtained from the Service.
- Unauthorized access to or alteration of your content.
Total liability for any claim arising from use of this free Service shall not exceed zero dollars ($0.00).
6. Intellectual property and open-source components
The Service is assembled from open-source software, including pdf-lib, PDF.js, PDFKit, Tesseract.js and others. Each of those components remains the property of its respective authors and is used under its own license. Nothing in these terms transfers or claims ownership of those components.
7. Governing law
These Terms shall be governed by the laws of [insert your jurisdiction], without regard to conflict-of-law provisions. Replace this before publishing the Service.
8. Changes to terms
We reserve the right to modify these Terms at any time. Notice of changes will be given by updating the "Last Updated" date above. Continued use after a revision constitutes acceptance.
